La nef s'en trouve sacralisée d'autant, la chaire étant conçue comme un prolongement du chœur. As it took up the challenge of the Protestant Reformation, the Council of Trent made a number of liturgical decisions that led to important architectural modifications. In order to affirm Jesus Christ as the sole Mediator and to emphasize the real Presence, the rood screen disappeared and the chancel now had no more than a single altar, which was visible to all. At the same time, the nave was sacralized as the pulpit was understood to be an extension of the chancel. Um die Defizite der Reformation hervorzuheben, hat das Konzil von Trient liturgische Entscheidungen mit gewichtigen architektonischen Änderungen getroffen. Um zu unterstreichen, dass Jesus Christus der einzige Erlöser ist und um auf seiner wirklichen Gegenwart zu bestehen, liess man den Lettner verschwinden und der Chor enthielt künftig nur noch einen für alle sichtbaren Altar. Das Schiff wurde sakralisiert, indem die Kanzel als Verlängerung des Chors konzipiert wurde. |
