Il est resté célibataire et seul survivant d'une famille de notables locaux. Les deux auteurs ont reconstitué l'essentiel de la biographie pastorale et humaniste de ce pasteur bibliophile, en coordonnant l'inventaire de ce fonds et des papiers de famille conservés, avec un petit musée protestant créé par le pasteur Henri Bosc, dans une annexe de la Bibliothèque municipale (environ dix mille documents : imprimés, dictionnaires, périodiques, brochures, dont quelques ouvrages rares du XVIe siècle, Jansénisme, théologie et histoire protestantes, histoire locale, culture générale). Pastor Emile Paul Vincent, known as Paul Vincent (1862-1944) has willed a rich library, that of a warm liberal pastor, to the S.H.P.F. With the help of a team of volunteers, the collection has been deposited at the municipal library of Joigny (Yonne) in Burgundy. Paul Vincent remained single and is the sole survivor of an influential family. The two authors have reconstituted the essential of the pastoral and humanist biography of this bibliophile pastor linking the inventory of the collection, as well as family papers that have been conserved, with a small protestant museum created by Pastor Henri Bosc. Housed in an annex of the municipal library are the some ten thousand documents : printed material, dictionaries, periodicals, brochures, including several rare works from the 16th century, Jansenism, theology and Protestant history, local history and general culture. Pfarrer Emile Paul Vincent (1862-1944), bekannt unter dem Namen Paul Vincent, hat seine umfungreiche Bibliothek der S.H.P.F. vermacht. Freiwillige Heifer haben am ihr gearbeitet, bevor sie in der stddtischen Bibliothek von Joigny, Burgund, untergebracht werden konnte. Paul Vincent, ein warmherziger, liberaler Pfarrer, war unverheiratet und einzig Überlebender einer ortsbekannten Familie. Die beiden Autoren Haben die theologische und humanistische Biographie im wesentlichen klassifiziert und haben das Ergebnis ihrer Arbeit (Bücher und die Familienkokumente) dem kleinen protestantischen Museum zur Verfügung gestellt, das von Henri Bosc gegründet wurde und heute in einem Nebengebäude der städtischen Bibliothek untergebracht ist etwa zehntausend Dokumente : Lexika, Periodika, Broschüren, von denen einige (16. Jht.) Seltenheitswert haben, Jansenismus, protestantische Theologie und Geschichte Lokalgeschichte und Kultur im weiteren Sinne. |
