Dans cette ville était établie depuis le milieu du xvf siècle une communauté réformée. La conception architecturale du temple est très simple : une grande salle rectangulaire éclairée par de hautes fenêtres ; le clocher n'a été construit qu'en 1807. Les deux cloches qui y ont été établies en 1861 et qui remplaçaient les premières, ont été fondues pendant la Grande Guerre ; en 1921, deux cloches nouvelles ont été installées. À l'intérieur, aucune ornementation : la chaire fixée en hauteur sur le mur de l'un des grands côtés, des tribunes élevées sur les trois autres côtés. L'orgue actuel, du facteur Callinet, date de 1847. Au cours des siècles, le temple a subi maintes réparations. Il est maintenant classé par le Ministère de la Culture. The protestant church of Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines, was built in 1634y when Ahace still belonged to the Holy Roman Empire. A protestant community had existed in this city since the middle of the XVIth century. From an architectural point of view, the church is built in a simply way : it is composed of a Urge rectangular room to which high windows give light ; the tower was only built in 1807. The two belh which were pUced there in 1861, standing in for the first ones, were cast during World War I. In 1921 two new bells were placed. Inside the church, there is not any ornamentation : the pulpit is fixed in height against the wall of one of the big sides, and galleries are erected against the three other sides. The organ used nowadays, was made by Callinet, builder in 1847. In the course of centuries, the church was repaired many a time. It is now listed by the Ministry of Culture. Die reformierte Kirche von Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines wurde im Jahre 1634 erbaut, als das Elsass noch Teil des Heiligen Römischen Reiches Deutscher Nation war. Eine reformierte Gemeinde bestand in dieser Stadt seit der Mitte des 16. Jahrhunderts. Die Architektur der Kirche ist sehr schlicht : ein großer rechteckiger Saal, beleuchtet von hohen Fenstern ; der Kirchturm wurde erst 1807 errichtet. Die beiden Glocken aus dem Jahre 1861, die die ursprünglichen Glocken ersetzten, wurden während des ersten Weltkrieges eingeschmolzen. Im Jahre 1921 wurden zwei neue Glocken aufgehängt. Der Innenraum ist vollkommen schmucklos : Die Kanzel ist an einer der Ungen Seiten wände hoch aufgehängt, an den drei anderen Seiten befinden sich Emporen. Die augenblickliche Orgel des Orgelbauers Callinet stammt aus dem Jahre 1847. Im Laufe der Jahrhunderte wurden an der Kirche mehrmals Reparaturen vorgenommen.
