| Summary: | The Act passed in France, on the 9th of December 1905, decided on the separation between Churches and State. Of course, this fostered in all Churches and in many parishes the reassessment of religious questions as well as many financial difficulties to be solved. The « Bibliothèque du Protestantisme Français » has recorded under reference Ms 1361 part of the archives of the Union of French Reformed Churches resulting from the Jarnac Assembly (limited to three boxes). Certain letters signed by well known leaders such as Charles Wagner, Wilfred Monod and A.-N. Bertrand give a fair idea of the problems which the Union had to face. Das französisches Gesetz vom 9. Dezember 1905 führte eine Trennung von Staat und Kirchen ein. Natürlich stellte es in allen Kirchen und in vielen Gemeinden, so wohl geistliche als auch finanzielle Probleme die nicht leicht zu lösen waren. Die « Bibliothèque du Protestantisme Français » hat, unter Referenz Ms 1361 drei Dossiers archiviert über die Gründung der Vereinigung der Reformierten Kirchen Frankreichs die aus den Entschlüssen der Jarnac Versamlung entstand. Einige dort enthaltenen Briefe von bekannten Kirchenführer wie Charles Wagner, Wilfred Monod und A.-N. Bertrand geben ein gutes Bild von den Problemen welche diese Union zu überwinden hatte. |
