Description
Summary:This article criticizes in detail Kathrin Koslicki’s conceptions of matter and form in her book Form, Matter, Substance. It has the character of a pinpointed book review: it does not aim to do justice to the book in its entirety, it only examines some aspects, of it — aspects, however, which are central to it. The verdict that emerges from the article might be summed up as follows: Koslicki’s book misses to a considerable extent the point of hylomorphism.
