Summary:The field of Business Ethics is still underdeveloped and negative stereotypes about the level of business ethics practice are prevalent. The field of Business Ethics is not yet institutionalized in the Academia of most ideastern countries. Most governments in the region have agencies to combat corruption. One of the interesting developments is the Eco-Peace organization for cross national cooperation in the field of ecology. The report concludes with some of the trends expected to impact economic developments and Business Ethics in the Middle East.
