Description
Summary:In a preliminary study of the so called "Pseudo-Abdias collection", this research presents the analysis of narrative elements: length of the various "notices", death's forms, relations to the canonical texts, relations to the source texts, narrative patterns, endings, doctrinal messages. These various elements could help answer some of the questions raised by the collection itself: Is there really such a thing as a "Collection du Pseudo-Abdias" or does this set of texts result from the luck of a copy? Since there is one collection, how did it start? Which goals does it achieve? To all these questions, the narrative elements seem to bring affirmative answers, and the whole collection appears well organized, even if lots of questions still remain unanswered.
