Although the canonical Gospels are their main source, an influence of apocryphal traditions can be established in some cases. On the other hand, the centonists treated some topics for which no direct model was available, and their text can achieve there a certain apocryphal status. Examples are given from the collection of Homerocentra of which the author will shortly publish the first complete and critical edition in the Sources Chretiennes series. | ||
