Summary: | This article examines some processes by which abstract systems of technological taxation affect practices and representations of actors of the popular religious manifestations in the contemporary. From ethnographic studies conducted in religious festivals and in the monitoring of popular religious groups in some states of Brazil, focused on such a phenomenon, the researcher selected some cases which allowed an acknowledgement procedures which subjects the ownership of these systems perform popular abstract, by using technology of audio-visual record. The partial analysis of these procedures indicate that the subjects produce in accordance with justifications and various benchmarks, which converge to (and contextualize it in) a field strategic and contemporary of the reflection on their religiosity. |
