Description
Summary:In critical adherence to the writings of H.H. Schmid, the author shows that the triad of creation, righteousness and shalom is regarded as essential for the theological shaping of the Old Testament. In Isaiah especially, as the author shows, the interaction of these concepts led to visions of particularistic and universalistic salvation. As unbalanced as they are, they represent a theological controversy that has not been — and possibly cannot be — settled within the OT scriptures.
