| Summary: | El papa Francisco es bien consciente de las críticas que le dirigen por defender que el diálogo con el islam es un kairós tanto para el cristianismo como para el conjunto de la sociedad actual. Pero ello no le impide afirmar, con Fratelli tutti, que este diálogo queda absolutamente justificado por una verdad transcendente (aquella que desborda incluso al que la afirma): la fraternidad universal. Una verdad objetiva y universal, pero a la vez profundamente abierta, dinámica y en interpretación polifónica. Pope Francis is well aware of the criticism directed at him for arguing that dialogue with Islam is a kairos both for Christianity and for today's society as a whole. But this does not prevent him from affirming, in Fratelli tutti, that this dialogue is absolutely justified by a transcendent truth (one that surpasses even the one who affirms it): the universal brotherhood. An objective and universal truth, but at the same time profoundly open, dynamic and with polyphonic interpretation. |
