Description
Summary:The dynamism of the current religious change is directed towards a deep identity recomposition that requires going beyond religious ascriptions and addressing the transverse processes of identification of subjects with beliefs, practices and values that make up their subjectivity. The National Survey on beliefs and religious practices in Mexico, (RIFREM, 2016) incorporated the self-identification variable of the subjects. An analytical exercise is presented to explore this dynamism, by crossing the options of self-identification with the main religious variables available, including trajectories of religious mobility, degrees of commitment to the institution, religious practices, transcendental beliefs and attitude towards rights. of sexual diversity. The results of the crosses account for the existence of various consistent patterns of relationship between these religious dimensions, so it concludes with the typological proposal of different believing and non-believing modalities among Mexicans.
