Description
Summary:This essay is a brief exposition on the Nicene Creed, and its primary emphasis is on the scriptural nature of the Creed. The language and imagery that express the relations between Father, Son, and Spirit in the Creed are the language and imagery of the Bible. But the Creed is not simply a set of propositions that our minds must accept. Like the Bible, the Creed offers a view of life that calls us to turn the world upside down.
