Summary: | The last few years have seen the publication of a number of legal books about church-state relations in Europe, ranging from Malcolm Evans, Carolyn Evans, and Paul Taylor's mastery monographs on religion under the European Convention on Human Rights to Ronan McCrea's seminal study of religion under European Union (EU) law to Norman Doe's groundbreaking study proposing that there are principles of religion law common to the states of the European Union. In addition to these individual endeavors, the European Consortium for Church and State Research has been prolific, producing a book a year looking at a particular interaction between religion and the law in European states. |
