Summary: | This book contributes valuable, well-documented information about aspects of Jewish fundamentalism in the state of Israel. The focus is upon “small, extremist and some clandestine groups” that have hitherto received little scholarly attention outside their own ranks. The author, Motti Inbari, suggests correctly that at least some of the advocacy and activism of the designated groups reflects ideas of and exerts influence on larger religious groups., Inbari's study is a comprehensive, scholarly overview of various groups involved directly and indirectly in the issues related to the Temple Mount, the most sacred site in Judaism, and to the rebuilding of the Temple. |
