Summary: | Marci Hamilton is angry. She is fed up with lawmakers, policymakers, and others in power who talk a good game about how children are the future of our country, yet refuse to act when children are victims of vile attacks on their personal and psychological well being. In her first book, God Versus the Gavel: Religion and the Rule of Law, Hamilton decried how some religious institutions use laws that were intended to protect religious freedom to cover up or condone child abuse and other serious crimes. In Justice Denied, Hamilton focuses her scorn on state legislators and the lobbyists who influence their votes. |
