Description
Summary:Though not evident from the title, the 16 essays contained in this volume have been collected as a warm tribute to Frederick Norris, whose teaching and writings on a wide variety of topics have inspired, interested, and entertained many over the last 40 years. These essays, however, are all focused on various aspects of the life and writings of Gregory of Nazianzus. Despite the variety, certain themes recur, even across the grouping of the essays under the three main headings of theology, history and autobiography, and legacy, serving to give the volume a welcome cohesion.
