| Summary: | This book begins with an avant-propos by Flavio G. Nuvolone, describing the activities since its foundation in 1971 of the Groupe suisse d’études patristiques (= Schweizerische Patristische Arbeitsgemeinschaft; GSEP/SPA). Patristic scholars in Switzerland, chiefly from the French-speaking universities, have met frequently to share notes, to pursue special themes, and to advance research. In 2010 it had 119 members. Their findings have in the past been published by individuals in various formats, and make a formidable list; now in Les Cahiers du GSEP their results on one theme are published together. The book contains the Greek text of ad Diognetum with a new French translation, and four studies in German, English, and French. |
