Summary: | In recent years the Vetus Latina project, far too long in the doldrums, has received much-needed advances. Volumes on Mark and on Acts, and the resuscitation and continuation of work on the previously abandoned volumes on Romans and on 1 Corinthians are under way. Now we welcome the first fascicle on a Gospel text, the sheer bulk of which having previously deterred potential researchers, especially in the period before modern electronic aids encouraged easier storage and sorting of data. |
