Description
Summary:The history of human thought has seen many arguments put forward to provide intellectual and rational proofs for the existence of God. The purpose of the present work, by a professional philosopher, is to strengthen the contemporary case for belief by offering several more proofs in the traditional style, buttressed by accounts of certain aspects of modern cosmology that can reinforce belief in a creator. Given the present state of debate on these issues, a volume of this kind is in principle very welcome., The first chapter surveys thoroughly a number of theories of cosmology that are currently on the market.
