Description
Summary:Martin Rhonheimer, a priest of Opus Dei and professor of ethics and political philosophy at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome, has presented the reader with very important material in this work, which has been translated from the original German, Die Perspektive der Moral: Philosophische Grundlagen der Tugendethik (2001). Additionally, the author has added a preface and updated the original edition in order to respond to critics. Although the book itself is a work of philosophy, not theology, Rhonheimer has suggested (and I concur) that it should prove to be quite interesting and important for moral theologians, particularly those interested in the study of Thomistic virtue ethics.
