Also included, for comparison, are a biography of a Zurich intellectual (Gesner) who was not a religious leader, an autobiography (Pellikan’s), and some examples of reformers’ lives essayed by seventeenth-century figures as diverse as Pierre Bayle and Cardinal Richelieu. | ||
