Not surprisingly, since the aim of the volume is to offer a feminist interpretation of St Augustine, prominent analysts of the place of women and the feminine in patristic thought feature, including Rosemary Radford Ruether, Virginia Burrus, and Margaret Miles. As with any edited collection of essays, the focus of the work shifts depending on the authors and their preoccupations. |
