Noting that Robert D. Sider had examined the works of Tertullian, and identified the signs of rhetorical training and practice in most of them, he has tried to do the same in Adu. Iudaeos, a work which is listed among the dubia of Tertullian: many scholars judge either the whole or the second half not authentic. The later chapters have a different character from the earlier, and a puzzling relation to various similar passages in Adu. Marcionem. | ||
