Résumé: | Colleagues, former students, friends, and admirers internationally have joined to honour Graeme Auld with this volume of thirty essays to mark his sixty-fifth birthday and his retirement from his Chair at New College Edinburgh, and to celebrate his own distinguished contribution to Old Testament research and teaching. No single area or subject of research Old Testament studies has been stipulated by the editors and thus we have thirty contributions on a wide variety of topics, from issues of historic and continuing dispute among scholars to discussions of smaller but important problems with proposed solutions to old or hitherto unsolved questions. |
