Description
Summary:This is the third volume published in the Hebrew University Bible project, following on the volumes dealing with Isaiah and Jeremiah. Scholars working in the field of the Hebrew Bible, and especially the text of the Hebrew Bible, will all welcome this volume. The Hebrew University Bible Project is one of three major projects currently working on a critical edition of the text of the Hebrew Bible. The Biblia Hebraica Quinta will, when completed, replace the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia as a pocket edition of the text of the Hebrew Old Testament. It is, like the Hebrew University Bible, a diplomatic edition, using the codex leningradensis as base text. Based on what has been published already, this edition will certainly be a welcome improvement on its predecessor.
