| Summary: | Anyone who has used Ziegler's edition of LXX Sirach will have noticed that quite a number of verses have extra stichoi, which he prints in a smaller typeface. This material, which amounts to 135 stichoi and belongs to the Long Recension (Greek II) of the LXX text, is only very partially covered by the Supplement to Hatch and Redpath's Concordance (pp. 163–96). The present concordance not only covers all 135 stichoi, but also gives important variant readings to be found in Ziegler's apparatus (these are helpfully distinguished from the other main entries by being given in italic). |
