Description
Summary:Twenty-three essays, published by Professor Graeme Auld as articles in journals or essays in multi-author volumes, have been collected in this attractive volume. All appeared originally between 1983 (‘Prophets through the Looking Glass: Between Writings and Moses’) and 2003 (‘Leviticus: After Exodus and Before Numbers’). In an introduction, written specifically for this collection, the author ties up these essays to his other published works, most notably Kings without Privilege (1994), Joshua Retold, Synoptic Perspectives (1998), and his essay on ‘Prophets through the Looking Glass’, which is included in this collection but has been previously published in other collections in 1995 and 1996.
