Description
Summary:The subjects of the papers presented to a Journée d’études held at Chartreuse in October 2002 include Bruno's mortuary roll (S. Excoffon), the Vita Brunonis written by Francois Du Puy, prior of Chartreuse 1503–21, at the time of Bruno's canonization (P. Paravy), the earliest Carthusian biblical manuscripts with especial reference to the Bible of Notre-Dame de Casalibus (D. M. de Becdelièvre), and, particularly noteworthy, the character of the earliest affiliations of other communities to Chartreuse (D. le Blévec).
