Summary: | The aim of this article is to make a theoretical proposal on the relationship between the category of identity in post-foundational political thought and cultural/border studies, with the purpose of complexifying and deepening the analysis of the intrinsic political dimension within the processes of religious identification. As a general framework of application, we will inquire on the proposals of rethinking the notion of (post)secularization in Latin America, as a way to make visible how the idea of religious plurality and diversity not only warns a field description but also an ontological-political reading of the inscription of the religious in the public space. |
