Description
Summary:Literature and Theology has now been in publication for five years. In its first issue, as its Editor, I presumed to offer a short statement of my views on the interdisciplinary study of literature and theology at that time. The present brief presentation is offered as something of a reflection on the years of reading manuscripts and further thought on the subject. It is written after lengthy discussions with my fellow editors, but it is in no way a corporate statement. Its views are entirely my own, and I take full responsibility for them. An earlier version of this paper was published in Norwegian in Kirke og Kuttur, published by the University of Oslo Press.
