| Zusammenfassung: | L’articolo prende le mosse dalla seguente costatazione: se il Concilio Vaticano II ha proclamato in modo solenne la vocazione universale alla santità ed essa, pertanto, è unica e si rivolge a tutti i battezzati, ha senso allora parlare di “santità laicale” e, in caso affermativo, quali sarebbero i suoi tratti caratterizzanti e quale la sua specificità? La risposta viene offerta a partire dalla testimonianza di vita di alcuni santi “della porta accanto” approfondita alla luce della dottrina conciliare e postconciliare sulla santità.The article departs from the following observation: if the Second Vatican Council solemnly proclaimed the universal vocation to holiness and, furthermore, af- firmed that it is unique and is addressed to all the baptized, then does it make sense to speak of “lay holiness”, and if so, what would its characterizing traits be and what would be its specificity? The answer is proposed starting from the witness of life of some “saints next door”, studied in the light of the conciliar and post-conciliar doctrine on holiness. |
