Description
Summary:To believe or not to believe in God, in man therefore, to trust or not to trust in man, in God therefore: the life perspective proposed in John 3,1-21, read with synchronic exegetichermeneutical method in these pages, consists in this alternative. This article proposes to show, through a text analysis, the utmost relevance of the role of human responsibility, with regards to the interior and existential opening or closing, both individual or collective, towards the Love of Christ, and therefore towards the spirit of God. Awareness of this situation was important in the Palestinian society of the 1st Century AD and, mutatis mutandis, the same hold true today, when one wants to personally perceive and make others become aware of the Christian sense of the divine judgment of man in a biblically adequate, or humanly promotional manner.
