Description
Summary:Missio Dei envisions Apostolic Practical Theology as the formation of mature ecclesial communities. Christian communities can reach this goal by an approach to Scripture that does not nullify God's Word and puts to the test man's speech about God through a return to practical life. The two following questions will guide such a Practical Theology: (1) “What kind of practical life underlies the affirmation of God, including the Christian God?” and (2) “What kind of effect does this affirmation produce on society and culture?” Practical Theology is therefore called to provide an appropriate hermeneutic of human destinies lived out by single persons as well as entire Christian and non Christian communities.
