In this essay the author looks at the work of the pioneers for evidences of negative influence in the Brazilian church of the nineteenth century North American concepts of Manifest Destiny and the “Spiritual Church.” He finds evidence that the pioneers are not as blameworthy in these areas as some have charged. | ||
