It is a marvelous page in Christian history, a story of courage, perseverance, and faith. The key person was Dinis Salomao Sengulane, the Anglican Bishop of Limbombos, but others were also involved and are mentioned in the course of the re-telling. This article traces the ups and downs of the movement from its inception in 1982 until the signing of the peace agreement in late 1992, followed by democratic elections in 1994. |
