Description
Summary:The BBC asked Professor Kerr to give a series of talks on his personal attitudes, as a Christian, toward Islam. These vignettes, selected from that series, are suggestive of ways that we can, by our involvement with Muslims, in their world or ours, appreciate and profit by the positive values of their faith. Far from diluting our own Christian faith, such contacts may serve to enhance it, as Dr. Kerr found. This kind of purposeful involvement may be a necessary first step toward achieving the higher level of respect that is a crucial prerequisite to effective Christian-Muslim encounter in our day.
