| Summary: | This paper proposes to conjugate the exegetic analysis grounded in the original text of the Gospel of John with certain notions from spiritual readings. Starting from the common linguistic root present in John 13,1 («loved ... to the end») and John 19,30 («It has been completed») it is possible to hypothesize an inclusion which allows interpreting the entire event of Easter starting from the category of completion and, more specifically, of the completion of love. |
