| Resumo: | Today, discussion and decisions in bioethics involve bio-laws and bio-politics: some of these issues are discussed and addressed inside specifi c bodies, the so-called ethics committees, that in these last years have been institutionalized more and more also in Italy. The following article presents and analyzes the specifi c experience of the Bioethics Committee of the Azienda Provinciale per i Servizi Sanitari of Trento, the local health care organization. The evolution of this initial activity will be to establish a bioethics service, in order to develop bioethics activities inside the hospitals, as ethics consultation, clinical bioethics research, and training on ethical issues. A «laboratory of ethics and philosophy of medicine» can help to discuss and accompany the main critical ethical aspects of the care process. |
