Resumo: | The narrative of creation and the symbol of the two trees in the middle of the Garden (Genesis 1-3) always awake renewed interest and suggest various hermeneutics. Bonhoeffer’s ‘theological exegesis’ presented in Creation and Fall (1933) stands out in the history of biblical interpretations for its depth and originality. This essay explores, in particular, the emerging theme of human ‘limit’ in order to clarify some relevant assumptions of Bonhoeffer’s anthropology and theology. |
