Important theological issues cannot be articulated without implicit reference to a physical worldview. Modern physics challenges us to revise the classical Newtonian way of looking at the world as a stable, causal mechanism of isolated objects. And physics today is possibly offering a worldview in which a synthesis of physics and metaphysics is again feasible.
