Description
Summary:The world is grappling with the most severe health, economic and political emergency since the Second World War as a consequence of COVID-19. Globally an untold number of people have died as a result of COVID-19, although one estimate of the death toll at the end of June 2021 is about 4 million. It has left so many people in so many nations confused, lonely, traumatised. The enduring human suffering among society's most vulnerable, particularly the aging, is incalculable. What do the Scriptures say about the sufferings of the aging? What hope do they offer?
