| Summary: | O presente artigo procura levantar algumas questões ligadas ao neopentecostalismo brasileiro, em especial, a continuidade em meio à cissiparidade. Procuramos mostrar que o movimento neopentecostal, apesar de suas várias rupturas, aparece como um movimento de continuidade. O movimento sofre uma ruptura, reorganiza-se e reinterpreta seus símbolos e liturgias, atribuindo-lhes novos significados, ao mesmo tempo que resgata diversas práticas de décadas anteriores. Demonstramos como a Igreja Mundial do Poder de Deus, ao enfatizar a cura divina, remasterizou uma antiga prática pentecostal muito utilizada pelas igrejas fundadas nas décadas de 1950 e 1960. Examinamos ainda a presença do mal, bem como a teologia da referida igreja, a fim de buscarmos um fio condutor de continuidade que caracteriza o neopentecostalismo. This article tries to raise questions linked to the neo-pentecostalism in Brazil, more specifically focusing those main characteristics which represent the continuity between the scissiparity. We aim to show the neo-pente-costal movement; despite of its many ruptures, it appears as a movement of continuity. That means: it suffers a rupture, it re-organizes itself, it re-interprets its symbols and liturgies, adding them new meanings and, at the same time, it characterises its continuity. Therefore, we aim to show in this article the way that the Power of God – Global Church has rescued an old pentecostal practice used among some of the churches founded in the 1950s and 1960s by emphasizing the divine cure. We have also examined the presence of evil, as well as the theology used in that specific church, aiming to find the conveyor belt of the continuity that characterizes the neo-pentecostalism. |
