The purpose of this work is to specify the nature of the Church’s cultural heritage, created to worship and glorify to God, and also to evangelize. In the end, the theme is specified in Murillo’s religious painting, of which the fourth centenary is celebrated., El ensayo consiste en la reelaboración de la lección inaugural del Curso Académico 2018/19 del Centro de Estudios Teológicos de Sevilla, pronunciada el 4 de octubre de 2018. Tiene como objetivo precisar la naturaleza del patrimonio cultural de la Iglesia, nacido para el culto y la gloria de Dios, y también para la evangelización y la catequesis. Al final el tema es concretado en la pintura religiosa de Murillo, del que se celebra el cuarto centenario. |
