Description
Summary:To interpret biblical texts as texts of the Bible means to show how a "model reader" (U. Eco) of the whole Bible interprets a particular biblical text. "Biblical interpretation" (C. Dohmen) is a text-centered, reader-oriented approach. In this methodology texts are understood as open to various possible meanings. These are shown without crossing the "boundaries of interpretation" (U. Eco). The possible value of such a "biblical interpretation" is shown with the example of a "model reading" of John 2:1-11.
