Description
Summary:Ignacio Ellacuría, murdered in 1989 for his commitment to faith and justice, was from 1958 – 1962 a Student of Karl Rahner in Innsbruck. Ellacurias starts with central thoughts in Rahner's theology, but develops them in the context of a Latin American context of historical theology. Rahner's influence is demonstrated with the examples of the category of mystery, development of dogma, relationship of nature and grace, and the relationship of love of neighbour and love of God. The examples show Rahner as paving the way for liberation theology.
