| Summary: | The communicatio in sacris constitutes a serious case of the relationship between Eucharistic communion and ecclesial communion not only for its ecumenical implications but also for sacramental and ecclesial theological reflection. While, in fact, until the 20th century the two aspects were considered inseparable, ecumenical dialogue has pushed some Churches and their respective theological institutions to justify a "misalignment" between the two dimensions, justified "Christologically" by a precedence and greater extension of Eucharistic communion with Christ with respect to belonging to a specific ecclesial configuration, understood as "one" of the possible realisations of the Church of Christ. Among the numerous projects put forward by individual theologians or organised groups for its undoubted interest we will consider the latest work prepared by the Ecumenical Study Group of Evangelical and Catholic theologians in Germany: Gemeinsam am Tisch des Herrn. Ein Votum des ökumenischen Arbeitskreises evangelischer und katholischer Theologen. By carefully analysing the proposal, we intend to verify the reasons given, but also the doubts raised. (English) La communicatio in sacris costituisce il caso serio del rapporto fra comunione eucaristica e comunione ecclesiale non solo per i suoi risvolti ecumenici ma anche per la riflessione teologica sacramentale ed ecclesiale. Mentre, infatti, fino al secolo XX i due aspetti erano considerati inseparabili, il dialogo ecumenico ha spinto alcune Chiese e le rispettive istituzioni teologiche a giustificare un "disallineamento" fra le due dimensioni, giustificato "cristologicamente" da una precedenza e maggior estensione della comunione eucaristica con il Cristo rispetto all'appartenenza a una determinata configurazione ecclesiale, intesa come "una" delle possibili realizzazioni della Chiesa di Cristo. Fra i numerosi progetti avanzati da teologi singoli o da gruppi organizzati per il suo indubbio interesse si considera l'ultimo lavoro redatto dal Gruppo di studio ecumenico di teologi evangelici e cattolici in Germania: Gemeinsam am Tisch des Herrn. Ein Votum des ökumenischen Arbeitskreises evangelischer und katholischer Theologen. Analizzando accuratamente la proposta, si intende verificare le ragioni addotte, ma anche le perplessità suscitate. |
