Description
Summary:There has been a growing literature covering the abuse of power among New Prophetic Churches and their leaders in South Africa. This article explores the rationale behind the abuse of power among the NPCs by assessing triumphalist theology as a theoretical framework. The link between triumphalist theology and the abuse of power reveals different layers of the abuse of power evident in a triumphalist movement, triumphalist prophets, and a triumphalist gospel.
