Description
Résumé:Robert Perske is most widely known for his books about community inclusion and in recent years for his writing and work on people with mental retardation and developmental disabilities in the criminal justice system. But early in his career, he was a pastor, and then, for a decade, chaplain at Kansas Neurological Institute, where he wrote some of the first widely disseminated articles and booklets on ministry, theology, and mental retardation. This volume is a collection of those articles and writings. The introduction summarizes Perske's career, and notes the ways that his pastoral voice has continued to influence his work as writer, observer, and advocate.
