Dieser Literaturbericht behandelt drei jüngere Arbeiten aus der Poimenik, die das Fach auf je eigene Weise an eine Wegscheide führen. Es handelt sich um Caring for Souls in a Neo-Liberal Age (2016) von Bruce Rogers-Vaughn, Race, Religion, and Resilience in the Neo-Liberal Age (2016) von Cedric C. Johnson und Care of Souls, Care of Polis (2017) von Ryan Lamothe.
